Behavioral Health Counselor I, II, III 

A Renewed Mind is a private, not for profit 501(c)(3) behavioral health care organization. We work to deliver personalized, high quality behavioral health services to our community in a compassionate manner.  We have developed a reputation of providing quality services based on our commitment to respecting the individual and in forming strong therapeutic relationships.

We are currently looking for qualified individuals to fill several Behavioral Health Counselor positions.  This position is responsible for providing diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and mental health counseling in the office or community at locations convenient to the persons served.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide initial and ongoing assessment, counseling, and clinical intervention to a designated caseload.

  • Provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy interventions.

  • Integrate Trauma Informed Care practices while working with persons served.

  • Communicate with relevant internal and external care providers to complete ongoing assessment and coordinate care.

  • Maintain complete and current clinical records regarding all persons served.

Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:

Required (at minimum):

BHC I:

  • LCDC II or III

  • LSW with a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work

BHC II

  • LSW with a Master's of Social Work or 

  • LPC or

  • LCDC III with Master's Degree

BHC III

  • Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling

  • Active Ohio LISW, LPCC, or LICDC License

  • At least five years of experience in social work and/or counseling
